Encompass Church is taking a team of 10 volunteers (Jinu, Julie, Chris, Rose, Mel, Johnson, Albert, Ang, Damian & Kat) to Uganda in April 2025 to support Operation Uganda’s life-changing work with children and families. Operation Uganda is an Australian faith based registered charitable organisation, who rescue and care for orphaned and vulnerable children and create sustainable community development projects in Uganda, one of the poorest countries in the world. Your donation will directly fund vital Operation Uganda projects in Kampala, including the renovation of its church/community facilities and sponsoring a weekly community lunch program that feeds 600–1,000 people. *UPDATE* As permits from Kampala City Council have delayed the renovation project of the community facilities in Kampala, the funds are going to be reallocated by Operation Uganda to carry out an “extreme makeover” renovation on 3 classrooms in a local Primary school in regional Abim. Your support makes a real difference to the world’s most needy. Together we can bring hope and long lasting change to some of the poorest communities in Uganda. The volunteer team that is visiting will be participating in the execution of these projects.
