I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease at 11. It was a depressing and lonely experience – doctors used me as a case study and kids bullied me for symptoms that were out of my control. For years, I battled harsh treatments, missed school, and felt like no one believed in my struggle. Crohn's nearly shattered my dreams of becoming a lawyer. This disease can control your life if you let it. I chose to fight back.
Now I'm running 150km this May to raise awareness for Crohn's and Colitis. Kids with Crohn's are on the rise, and I don't want them to suffer like I did. Please donate to support research and give them the tools and hope to take control of their lives. Join me on a run or share my story!
Since 1985, Crohn’s & Colitis Australia has been empowering the 180,000 Australian men, women and children living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis – collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) – to live fearlessly.
