Please help our Aboriginal Children and Youth connect to culture with Traditional Dance outfits. $3,000 will equip Aboriginal children & youth with traditional dance outfits and track suits to keep them warm before and after dancing (it's chilly here in Ballarat!) $8,000 will provide dance outfits PLUS Aboriginal dance workshops, such as Indigenous Hip Hop, to skill up and inspire our children and youth. Aboriginal children and youth in Ballarat and district can experience high rates of family breakdown, housing insecurity, poverty, poor health and early school leaving. Connecting to culture is a protective factor to build resilience and pride. Thank you!
