Bula Mate Project is coordinating a virtual food drive this November. For the entire month, we are collecting funds to enable our partners to provide non-perishable food packages to needy families in Fiji, especially those who have lost their jobs or businesses due to impacts of the coronavirus pandemic. Fiji is already a third world country with many facing poverty and malnourishment. The main source of employment is tourism. Suddenly this year, the pandemic shut down flights into and out of Fiji. This has effectively shut down the tourist industry.
Please pray for the success of our food drive and if you can, please partner with us to help those who are suffering. We are aiming to raise $1000 This will allow us to feed many families who are in need this Christmas. We will be working with our ministry partner Aflame for Christ Ministries, who will put together the food parcels, sourcing the content locally and distribute them to families in need.
