Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a progressive life limiting disease. Ryan was diagnosed at four and is now ten years of age. Ryan is becoming increasingly weak and reliant on his wheelchair. He will eventually be unable to walk at all.
At the moment Ryan is forced to leave his electric wheelchair at school as it will not fit into his family's current car. This severely limits his independence, quality of life and mental wellbeing.
Ryan is a beautiful soul who asks for nothing and we truly would like to help his family in this critical stage of his illness.
