Anne Marie's BIG Birthday

So here I am on the brink of a very big birthday! For all of you who know me well know that this year I will be 34! I don’t ever come above that mark. It works for me and I quite love it!

However the reality is I’m hitting a huge landmark in my life and what better way to celebrate it then to raise funds for my beloved family in Kenya.

We have lots of projects that are we are fundraising for at the moment. We have the school. We have an issue with the water on our farm and our children becoming sick. What we don’t have is enough money coming in on a day today basis for our running costs.

As an added incentive I think, if we raise enough money, I might just reveal my true age! (hahaha WHAT ANNE MARIE?!! - Sarah)

Those of you who know me through Rafiki Mwema will not know what a big deal that is to me. I lie so much about my age even I have forgotten how old I am, thank God for my family and friends who can remind me of every disastrous BIG birthday that comes my way!

So this year I don’t want presents. I don’t need cards. I’m spending the day with some of my family and some friends that I absolutely adore. What I would like is if you could help me to get through this VERY painful day, by making a donation however small however huge you want it to be, to help the lives of a 69 children who live in our therapeutic houses.

Parenting this huge family is very very expensive and my biggest fear is one day will go to pay a bill and the pot is totally empty! We are pretty close to that every month.
