Day-in-day-out I bear witness to the terrible stories told by my clients seeking refuge in Australia from their impoverished countries. I am an immigrant to this lucky country we happily get to call home are fortunate enough not to be directly attached to the terrible plight of people struggling in impoverished countries. But I feel a sense of duty and responsibility toward those not as fortunate as many of us living in this blessed land, which is why I continue to help by guiding many people I consider family to tackle this difficult stage of their life (immigration) until they are finally able to settle and integrate into our communities.
Fortunately, thanks to this wonderful platform being the & quote; Mrs Globe Finalist” and my humble selection to represent such a tremendous organisation. I am able to do just that as my responsibilities will not only include spreading the Mrs globe spirit but also bring awareness and much-needed funding to an otherwise untold story
Being an immigrant myself, I feel for the struggle these poor young girls and boys are being subjected to and as a migration agent hear first hand the horrors of their pain. This is why I am lending my full support to the Project Karma campaign. An organisation that brings a voice to the fallen in the hope that by telling these stories, the world will get closer to putting an end to the crime. The Project Karma vision is to have a world where children live free from the threat of sexual exploitation.
Fortunately, you can help raise awareness by donating as little as what you may normally spend on your weekly budget for coffee to this much-needed foundation. Because if you were in the same position, wouldn't you want someone to help?
