We decided to do this when Lily was about 6 months old. The day she was born was one of the happiest days of our lives, but experiencing Postpartum Psychosis was easily the worst thing we have ever been through. This has forever changed our lives so we would love to do something positive to celebrate how far we’ve come, and to raise awareness of the mental health issues experienced by many new parents.

Liliana already has all that she could ever need. A roof over her head, clothes on her back and food in her tummy. She is surrounded by an incredibly loving family, and an amazing group of caring, supportive friends. She is healthy, she is so loved and one of the happiest babies you will ever meet. We feel incredibly grateful and blessed to have this beautiful girl in our lives. What Liliana does need is for her Mama to stay well, and this is possible with the support of organisations like COPE.

COPE is dedicated to helping with the emotional and mental health challenges of becoming and being a parent, and we would be honoured if you would join us in making a donation to this very worthy cause.

COPE: Centre of Perinatal Excellence

Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) is a not-for-profit organisation devoted to supporting parents at each stage of the journey to parenthood, and reducing the impacts of emotional and mental health problems before and after having a baby.
