Join the SYA & VSA family in assisting Birthing Kits Foundation Australia, an Australian non-for-profit organisation dedicated to the elimination of preventable maternal and newborn mortality and morbidity. Over 300,000 women in developing countries die annually in childbirth from completely preventable infections. These infections can be prevented by the promotion of cleanliness during childbirth through the use of birthing kits, saving the lives of many mothers and children throughout communities all over the world in locations such as India, Papua New Guinea and Uganda. Your donation goes towards the purchase of kits ($5) that will be assembled on 30th November 2024 at the VSA Clubhouse. We are aiming to raise $2000 to cover 400 kits.
