The Birthing Kit Foundation Australia provides simple and effective birthing kits for basic infection prevention and first-line childbirth care for women in Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and many other lower income countries. 295,000 women die each year from causes related to pregnancy and childbirth and close to 2.5 million babies die within their first month of life. At the end of the school term, an assembly day for these kits will be held for students and teachers where you can be an integral part of saving lives.
