Domestic violence is a social injustice that disproportionately affects women and children regardless of their cultural background, socio-economic status or level of education. Purple Day seeks to raise awareness of the causes and consequences of domestic violence and the importance of respectful relationships. All donations will support the wonderful work of Rize Up, a Queensland based charity providing life-changing, practical support for families affected by domestic violence.
RizeUp stands as a nationwide organisation dedicated to partnering with front-line agencies and the community to provide tangible, life-changing support for families affected by domestic and family violence.
