You can help protect some of the world’s most endangered wildlife by supporting the Sumatran Ranger Project.
Our team of professionally trained rangers works in the Leuser Ecosystem in North Sumatra, Indonesia - the last place on earth where tigers, elephants, orangutans, rhinos and countless other magnificent creatures still co-exist.
This ecosystem is a one of the world’s most important biodiversity wonderlands – but it’s also home to around 4 million people. The only way to protect the Leuser is to ensure humans and wildlife live in harmony with one another. That’s where rangers come in.
We’ve had amazing success working with local communities to reduce human-wildlife conflict and make conservation a priority.
However, the more impact we make the greater the demands on our team. There’s so much more we can be doing – and so we need your support. Can you help us raise $4400? That will guarantee a ranger’s salary for a year.
Contributions will come to us through Thin Green Line (the charity arm of the International Rangers Federation). TGL’s generous support means donations made in Australia are tax deductible.
