Every year Hon John Gardner MP and Dr Richard Harvey MP host a community quiz night to raise funds for the Eastern Adelaide Domestic Violence Service (EADVS) run by Women's Safety Services. However, due to the COVID-19 restrictions this year, we will be holding an online fundraising 'telethon' instead. EADVS supports women and their children in our local area who are experiencing domestic and family violence. They are an organisation committed to helping people find safety and support at the most vulnerable time in their lives. EADVS has a range of programs and services that it provides to women they support. While it receives core funding from the government, the scale of the positive impact it has in our community is only possible due to the outstanding commitment and dedication of the staff, and the generous financial and in-kind support it receives from our local community. Please take a moment to donate whatever amount you can to support this outstanding service in their work for some of the most vulnerable in our community.
