Domestic Violence Awareness

Hi everyone,
My name is Sammi Dutschke and I am a state finalist for Miss Face of the Globe Australia. The reason I am involved with this pageant is due to the great charity work they do in the local communities and allowing me to raise money and awareness for something I feel passionately about - domestic violence awareness in Australia.

Queensland, we have numerous public deaths related to domestic violence late in 2015. We need to keep talking about this issue, and keep these conversations going, we need to get word out.

This IS happening to many women and children across Australia (please understand I know men are also victims of domestic violence, I am merely focusing this campaign for the benefit of women and children).
This abuse is happening not only physically but also mentally.

In order to show these women we support them we need to CONTINUE to publicly talk about this issue and hopefully allow some women to understand that they do have support in the Australian community.

I would like to tell you that all money raised will be directly going to the Gold Coast Domestic Violence Prevention Centre.
NO money will be on anything else related to the Pageant.
