In light of the disaster in Nepal that has directly affected affected friends of mine in a country that I love and that I have learnt and gained so much from, I thought you could help me raise as much money as possible.
Any money I raise will be donated to the Australian Himalayan Foundation to help in two ways with hands on assistance to the kids, communities and schools that they support and also to help them rebuild a school at Chaurikharka in the Solu Khumbu that was destroyed in the earth quake as well as and also with AHF's Red Cross partners in Nepal giving direct earthquake releif, medical and food aid.
This kind of help is needed now more than ever in this terribly poor earthquake ravaged area.
On Saturday 2nd May we are having our "Big Workout" you can sponsor yourself or a friend to see how many times they can do the workout
or you can sponsor Real Estate Agent Steve "Yeti" Bock and TV Presenter Pete Wells, our Everest Summiteers. Steve will be walking with a heavy pack uphill and Pete will be paddling on an erg in our altitude chamber. We have set the height for the same height as Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital of the Solu Khumbu 3500m. Steve will see if he can pack march all day.
Please donate as much as you feel you can.
If you are taking part in our "Big Workout". Please book a class place for you and your friends here:

Our little room at Byron Bay Preschool held a morning of Yoga and home made lemonade to help in a small way. Thank You. Namaste
