Malakai Manyang is seven months old and has never left Princess Margaret Hospital, Perth, Western Australia.
He suffers from a rare medical condition called Pallister Killian Syndrome or PKS.
It's so rare - only three people in WA live with the condition and approximately 200 worldwide.
Malakai needs around the clock care to stay alive as he struggles to breathe, can't see or hear and relies on a machine to sleep.
His mum Stacy moved to Perth from New Zealand four and a half years ago. She is a single-mother of two has been forced to give up work to care for her son.
Stacie struggles to pay rent, power and even the bus ride to the hospital.
They survive on only $180 dollars a fortnight from Centrelink - and can't receive more because she's not an Australian citizen.
If Malakai was a normal baby, Stacy would be able to work part time but due to the care he requires that's not possible.
Any support you are able to provide to Stacy and Malakai is greatly appreciated.
I Stacy Maitai had to give up everything to take care of her seven month old son - forced to survive on less than $100 a week.
Baby malachi passed away 25th July 2015 I struggle with depression losing him caring for my 8year old girl Thankyou everyone for your donations.

Hi Stacey, lots of good suggestions here in faceBook, from Whanau. It would be nice to hear more about what you want to do, what you have done, and if you have applied to NZ Govt Social Development / Disabilities Dept? You could ph from Aus free by this number; ph:1800 150 479 to discuss your request for NZ assistance.
All the best, Heather
