I decided to participate in this Boxing Event to raise money and awareness for this youth development program, as a challenge for myself and to contribute to a great cause.
I have been regularly involved with youth development programs in the last 5 years or so and jumped at the chance to support a good cause and challenge myself physically and mentally. I have never boxed before. Gulp!!!
To participate in this boxing event, I have committed to raising $2000 before the fight night on the 7th of March, and undergo 8 weeks of training with Cyclone Boxing NT to prepare. I will be running BBQs etc to raise money, but all donations will go through here. Any queries - please send me a message!

CounterPunch is a youth development program targeting potential emerging behavioural changes. It focuses on the development of resilience skills using the physical medium of Boxing and a life skills training program called “In the Driving Seat” (based on Reality therapy/Choice theory).
