I'm raising funds to help Adam (a country singer in Newcastle, NSW) continue the vitally important role he does in entertaining, ministering to and giving joy and happiness to our local senior citizens in the Newcastle and broader Hunter Valley region.
Since he recovered from a life threatening illness and only having 3 weeks to live personally, his life has been transformed to help give happiness and comfort to elderly people in our society (sadly, many of who are forgotten when admitted to nursing homes).
Adam performs when and as necessary for these wonderful elderly people, doing group concerts, as well as many bedside visits to bring joy and happiness to them in over 80 local nursing homes, plus several more assisted living and adult daycare centers.
This musical ministry for our infirm seniors takes up all of Adam's time as he is completely passionate about seeing our seniors from our community happy.
But to keep doing this, he needs the help of kind people, groups and businesses to fund this project so he can focus solely on what his God given gift is of entertaining our seniors and making them happy.
Having lots of expenses, the main ones being fuel, car running costs, equipment maintenance and replacements, along with new songs which are requested by residents all taking up valuable resources.
The valuable commitment which Adam provides to making our seniors happy in their final days, along with other immobile seniors in aged care facilities, day care and assisted living facilities must carry on.
This campaign is for anyone wishing to assist in this highly beneficial (yet so often overlooked, or not deemed important) musical therapy for our seniors in our town of Newcastle, NSW, Australia.

Until she passed away two years ago; I use to visit a 98yr old aunt in a nursing home and every Christmas, they'd have a party for the residents/guests and a lovely lady used to sing. It was great seeing the elderly enjoy this entertainment! On a more personal note Adam; I'd like to thank you for the support & encouragement you gave my son, Will Cobcroft-Wells.
