Dane Waites is an incredible young man with a spectacular dream. He is going to run from Perth to Pambula, a distance of over 3,000km in 2016. He will be raising money for Autism program's & research.
To achieve his dream Dane needs to raise $50,000 to employ a coordinator to organise the trip.
To help raise the money for the coordinator we are calling for interested runners to set a goal at the Canberra Marathon weekend on April 11 & 12 2015. With events at 5km, 10km, 1/2 marathon & Marathon distance there should be a challenge for everyone to target. Tell all your friends about the run you enter & ask them to donate to help Dane's Dream come true.
We will be producing a running singlet to help commemorate your achievement - if you know of a business who would like to contribute to the fundraising please ask them to contact Rod at rodney@eldersbega.com.au. Singlets will then be available a cost price to all runners & supporters.
