27 year old Jarred Clayton, loving husband, son and father to be, sustained unimaginable brain injuries recently.
On Wednesday the 22nd of October 2014 his loving wife Leigh, who is carrying what is to be their first child, along with his family, made the heart wrenching decision to remove Jared’s life support. He passed away in the arms of his beautiful wife with his family by his side.
Jarred was selfless in life and in death and as after the tragic passing of his little brother Brock less than two years earlier he made his intentions clear that he wished to be an organ donor.
As a direct result of Jarred’s donation four lives have been transformed and his heart still beats on today.
One of Jarred’s proudest moments in life (followed closely by his wedding day) was announcing and discussing his upcoming parenthood with family and friends.
We created this page to welcome any donations large or small in the support of his devoted and incredibly strong wife Leigh and their unborn baby due at the end of January 2015. It would be incredible if we could in some small way ease the pain Leigh is suffering by helping with the financial strain of raising their newborn baby alone.
It’s our hope that Leigh will be able to spend the first few months alongside their baby, not having to work. Being a new mum is tough under any circumstances, this tragic turn of fate is unimaginable to most and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thinking of you at Christmas. Mitzi and Anna. X
