Help for The Martin Family

In June of this year, our 14 year old sister Charmaine was diagnosed with an Ependymoma tumour which is a rare form of cancer that only effects the brain & spine. Charmaine's was on her brain.

She underwent surgery to have the tumour removed. The surgery was a success & they were able to remove the whole tumour.

Since having surgery, Charmaine has undergone Radiation Therapy. Charmaine's journey is now to undergo Chemotherapy.

Charmaine started Chemo 2 weeks ago. Into the second week of Chemo, she was hospitalised due to illness & her white blood cell count was in the negatives. She also had a platelet transfusion. Whilst this was to be expected during her treatment, no-one expected this to effect her so soon.

Our mother has given up her full-time job until further notice to be able to give her 24/7 care.

Whilst Charmaine has already been through a lot, she still has a very long journey ahead of her.

We are trying to raise some funds to alleviate the stress of any Medical & Household expenses as well as the loss of income for the Martin Family.
