The Director of HBF Finance and BF Brokers Group is raising money and exposure for Vicdeaf "Access and Equity for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Victorians"
The Vicdeaf cause is close to Scott Prosser heart as he is hard of hearing himself. Scott is fortunate enough to have access to tools and support during his adolescence years to allow him to effectively communicate with the wider public. It is important to him that the same tools and support be provided to other hard of hearing or deaf Victorians, so we decided to play our part to help them.
We are calling on donations from business owners to donate and support Scott as he competes in a challenging 55km adventure course in Lorne on the 7th of December.

$25 could help buy a telephone amplifier for someone who is hard of hearing
$55 could enable a young Deaf professional to attend a business networking function
$75 could provide work readiness programs for job seekers who are deaf, hard of hearing or have other disabilities
$100 could help buy a specialised baby monitor for parents who are deaf
$120 could help provide free hearing screenings and hearing loss prevention in regional areas
Vicdeaf is a progressive NFP supporting over 16,000 people each year.
Vicdeaf provides a broad range of services, including: employment; audiology, hearing aids and devices; public awareness programs; interpreting, captioning and notetaking; sign language video productions; sign language classes, deaf and hearing awareness training; supported accommodation; independent living skills and case management.
