The vision for Kayak4Youth 2014 is to raise funds and awareness for the prevention of youth suicide through a 2 to 4 day kayak adventure down the spectacular Katherine River. Building on the success in Samoa of Kayak4Youth 2013, this year will see a new adventure for the same cause which is Lifeline but this time in the Top End of Australia.

Hi my name is Steph, I am a sixteen year old girl and am currently studying year 11 at Darwin High School in Darwin, NT. I am participating in the venture down Katherine River with my best friend Taylah Maurice. I am partaking in this vision because I not unlike other youths have seen and been affected by the results of suicide, I want to support my community for such a significant and devastating cause and help 'Lifeline' to raise funds for the awareness and prevention of suicide.
