REDMOND'S STORY. I rescued a 9 year old ginger boy named Remond about a year ago.His beloved guardian had passed away, and he was left heart broken in a cage at a boarding facility for 4+ months. I caught wind of him through a friend and decided to go see him. When i approached this skinny ginger man, he wanted nothing more then to get close to me and love on me. He was purring so loud im sure the walls were shaking. One look into his deep gold and green eyes and i knew i had to adopt him. I became his new guardian, and he became my new best friend. When i adopted him He was, and still remains, quite ill. The vets have done blood tests and checked his liver and kidneys, and he has been thrown on a bunch of different kinds of medications, however he still remains sick. This wouldnt usually be an issue for me, however i have recently found myself out of work, and am finding it hard to keep my head (and the cat's) above water. His illness somewhat subsided for a while, however as of late he has became quite ill again, something i was hoping would not happen. He was tentatively diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. On a daily basis he passes blood and mucous through his stools. (That's when he isnt sleeping). I have heart-breakingly considered re-homing him to someone who can afford his bills and care as an option, but given he was already a rescue, and has settled into our home and our hearts, i do not think that is a viable option.I think he will get worse and give up on life... So here i am, doing something which i never thought i would be doing, asking help from others. I will accept any donation you can afford, and even donations of best wishes and/or prayers for him. He is my baby. Seeing him sick breaks my heart. So please, open yours to help this boy get diagnostics done and appropriate medications. Thank you, from both myself and Redmond <3.
I love this boy, like his my own too Leashy, my gorgeous late grandmother, picked him up as a kitty, i had many visits too my grandparents place, always purred and loved a pat, was very loving toward my family too, he deserves the best, and i know there is still so much love for him too give, he's a fighter and together we'll make sure he pulls through.
