Thanks for supporting our efforts in raising money for COUCH: (Committee for Oncology Unit at Cairns Hospital). COUCH aims to improve the health and well being of people in the Far North Queensland community that may suffer the disease of cancer and improve the cancer treatment technology available in the region.

COUCH aims to ensure that Cairns has radiation oncology facilities. With these services, sufferers of cancer will be able to treated in Cairns, rather than suffer through journeys to Brisbane and Townsville for treatment, experience extended periods away from loved ones and bear the burden of costs of accessing this necessary and life saving treatment.
