The Wesley Wednesday Walkers have decided to take action against poverty and help create a better future for women, children and disadvantaged families living in poverty in Southern India.
We were given a set of APRONS4ACTION aprons and a challenge.... to come up with a way to use our aprons to help raise funds for community health, education, farming or income generating projects in Erampatti village.
Wearing our aprons, we've decided to embark upon a 10km walk through the beautiful suburbs of Brisbane on Wednesday 7 May to raise funds for community health programs.
Our goal is to raise $1000 so we can sponsor a medical camp and some follow up community health training days in Erampatti.
HOW YOU CAN HELP?
If you'd like to sponsor us on our walk, please click on the MAKE A DONATION button above. NB. Donations over $2.00 are tax deductible
We hope you will lend your support so we can help improve community health and access to medical services for the women and children of Erampatti.
