Please help us raise money for Sheree. Her first major expense is $7000 for tumour profiling. By having her tumour profiled they will better understand what tumour cells they are dealing with and what the best treatment will be. We are hoping to raise in excess of this as there are many more expenses.

Sheree’s Journey

On 9th of March 2011 Sheree was diagnosed with Stage 3C Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Her world turned upside down. Suddenly this beautiful wife and mother of two young boys, was facing her biggest fears.

Her rollercoaster ride actually began on 21st February when she was 10 weeks and 2 days pregnant, which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage. In a short time of 1 week and 2 days after her miscarriage she found this elusive lump.

On Tuesday 22 March 2011 Sheree had a mastectomy. The results showed that the two lumps at the top of her breast had now grown into one with a diameter of 5cm. This confirmed how aggressive the cancer was as it had grown 1.5cm in 2 weeks. They also found a 4th tumour from the pathology, a tumour they weren’t aware of from all the tests she had done. There were also more lymph nodes affected then they previously thought. They took all 26 lymph nodes and 13 of these were infected with cancer. This pathology put her at Stage 3C cancer.

She started Chemo on the 7th April, finished on the 21st July, and 2 short weeks after on the 4th August she started her Radiation for 5 weeks (5 days a week) in Brisbane. Such a long time to be away from her family.

However, recently it was confirmed that she has a reoccurrence of breast cancer. It is a triple negative cancer (same cancer as last time, so it is a reoccurrence of the original primary). She had a biopsy on this same lump in July and was told all was ok. She has also found out they didn't radiate high enough on her chest wall. It is looking as though she will now face more surgery to her chest wall, losing her ribs, pec major muscle, and reconstructed breast. She has sent her tumour sample to America for testing. It is called tumour profiling and is very expensive $7000, but this will give her the best possible chance of beating this nasty aggressive tumour.

Sheree’s family and friends are constantly amazed at her strength and courage to fight this long battle. While we offer her love and prayers to lighten the burden, we are hoping that with your kind donation we can help them financially too. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
