For those who have followed the Our Little Edey podcast, you'll know the Westbrook family and the heartbreaking story of their daughter, Eden.
For years, the Westbrooks have shown incredible strength and determination as they've continued their fight for answers about what happened to Eden.
Now, they're facing another unexpected challenge.
Jason has recently suffered a stroke, leaving him unable to work for at least the next four months.
This means the family is suddenly facing the reality of living on a single income while Jason focuses on his recovery.
The Westbrooks are a proud, hardworking family. They're not the type of people to ask for help, and the last thing they'd ever want is to feel like they're asking for handouts. But sometimes life throws more at a family than anyone should have to carry, and this is one of those times.
After everything they've already been through, we want to make sure that worrying about how to pay the bills isn't another burden they have to face.
Like so many Australian families, the bills don't stop when life takes an unexpected turn. There's still the mortgage or rent, groceries, electricity and all the everyday costs of keeping a household running.
That's why we've decided to rally around the Westbrooks and give them a helping hand.
We're asking the Our Little Edey community, and anyone who has been touched by Eden's story, to consider making a donation to help the family through the next few months.
Every dollar raised will go towards helping the Westbrooks cover their everyday living expenses while Jason recovers.
This isn't about funding an investigation or a legal battle. It's simply about making life a little easier for a family who have already been through so much.
Whether it's $5, $20 or whatever you can afford, every contribution will make a difference.
And if you're not in a position to donate, sharing this page would mean just as much.
The Westbrooks would never ask for this themselves, but we know there are so many people who have followed their story and wished there was something they could do to help.
Well, now there is.
Thank you for supporting the Westbrooks, for listening to Eden's story and for showing this family that they don't have to face everything alone.
With love,
The Our Little Edey Team
