The more I'm chronically online, the more I hate it... The more I seek tangible connections, something physical, memorable. As a photographer, I'm tired of moments becoming 0.1 seconds on someone's timeline. A lost thought buried in thousands of screenshots, memes, shopping lists and basically anything that might reside in one's gallery... And therefore, I want to change this up. I want to create a space where whoever wants, is able to go back to a different time, perhaps one they haven't even lived in, and experience getting a physical photo in the mail, a memory, a moment, a surprise. "Postales del Ayer" - is Spanish for "Postcards from the past". Alluring to a different time where our phones weren't our lives. How it works: Fill the form below telling me a bit about yourself, and what you'd like the photo to be of or contain, as well as your preference of 35mm film or digital capture and you'll get a surprise printed photo exclusive to you, as a surprise for you :D. P.s. prefer not to send your address? I'm happy to address it to a postal office or send it digitally. Want to contribute to others' postage and/or film cost coverage? You're more than welcome, but please don't send a huge amount, anything that remains after covering film costs will be donated to a good cause.
