Steps Forward for Jenny’s Place 💙

For almost 50 years, Jenny’s Place has supported women and children across Newcastle and the Hunter who are experiencing domestic and family violence and/or homelessness.

Their work goes far beyond providing somewhere to stay. Jenny’s Place provides safe accommodation, practical assistance and essential support to women and children during some of the most difficult and uncertain times in their lives, helping them move towards a safer and more secure future.

This October, Kingston Building is stepping forward for Jenny’s Place, with our team taking on a combined goal of 4 MILLION STEPS throughout the month to raise funds and awareness for this important local organisation.

As a building company, we understand the importance of having a safe and secure place to call home. But we also recognise that a safe home is about far more than four walls and a roof. That connection is why we have chosen to support Jenny’s Place and the women and children they assist within the communities where we live and work.

We’re asking our clients, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, friends, families and wider community to get behind us and donate.

Every contribution can help provide practical support — from everyday essentials and care for a family pet, to activities for children living in refuge or emergency accommodation for someone needing a safe place to stay.

$15 can provide a toiletries care pack.

$30 can help provide food and care for a victim-survivor’s pet.

$50 can provide a fun day out for children away from refuge life.

$100 can provide emergency accommodation for a night of safety.

100% of funds raised through Steps Forward for Jenny’s Place will go directly to Jenny’s Place.
