Socialist Alliance is campaigning in the 2026 Victorian State Election! We are running candidates in Broadmeadows and Pascoe Vale Lower House districts as well as the Northern Metropolitan Region in the Upper House.

Four term Merri-bek Councillor Sue Bolton is running as the Socialist Alliance candidate for the seat of Broadmeadows which also encompasses Fawkner, Glenroy, Campbellfield and Coolaroo.

Sue Bolton has fought hard for the local community on Merri-Bek Council. She stands for meaningful actions in support of Palestine, real solutions to the climate crisis and fighting back against capitalist greed, particular in housing and AI data centres.

Jacob Andrewartha, long-time socialist activist, childcare worker and union member, is the Socialist Alliance candidate for the seat of Pascoe Vale, which also encompasses Coburg, and parts of Brunswick West.

Jacob has been involved in campaigns for public housing, climate justice and palestine solidarity. He was intergral to organising protests against Israel's genocide in Gaza in Merri-bek.

Socialist Alliance's Upper House candidates are Chloe Beaton, Meredith Lawrence and Darren Saffin who have all been instrumental in local campaigns for housing, transport and climate justice and well as for a Free Palestine.
