In December 2024, I was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. What followed was surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and ongoing treatment.
It was a difficult chapter, but I didn’t go through it alone. Alongside the care of my medical team, I experienced the difference that practical support, kindness and community can make when life suddenly becomes overwhelming.
Now I want to give something back.
A Cuppa for a Cause is my personal fundraising initiative supporting four charities that help people and families affected by cancer:
Gather My Crew, helping family and friends coordinate practical support when someone is doing it tough
Mummy’s Wish, supporting mums with cancer who have young children
Camp Quality, helping children and families facing cancer
Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA), providing trusted information, support and connection for Australians affected by breast cancer
***How It Works***
Over the next 12 months I'll be raising funds for these 4 charities. How you can help:
With your okay, I might share a few photos from our catch-ups here and on social media to help spread the word.
Every contribution matters. Together, our donations can help these organisations continue providing practical care, comfort and hope to people when they need it most.
Thank you for supporting A Cuppa for a Cause. And while you’re here, please take this as a gentle reminder not to put off your health checks. Early detection can make an enormous difference.
Can’t join me for a coffee? You can still donate through this page and be part of the cause.
Thank you for supporting these amazing organisations.
