Support Women Rebuilding After Domestic & Family Violence
The Skillful Mama Community was created to support women rebuilding their lives after domestic and family violence. Recovery doesn’t end when the violence stops. Many women are left navigating trauma, isolation, financial hardship and the challenge of rebuilding their confidence, support networks and sense of belonging. On 12 September, we are hosting our first Lived Experience Networking Event - bringing together victim-survivors, advocates, practitioners, organisations and community members in a safe, supportive space to connect, learn and build lasting relationships. Our vision extends far beyond a single event. We are working to establish a sustainable community where women can access connection, opportunities, education and ongoing support as they rebuild their lives. Your donation will help us cover the costs of delivering this event, including venue expenses, accessibility, resources and future HER Collective initiatives that strengthen community and create long-term impact. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps create spaces where women feel seen, heard and supported. Thank you for believing in this vision. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign with your network is another powerful way you can help us reach more people. Together, we can help women rebuild, not just survive, but thrive.
