On Saturday 20th of June, our beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, son-in-law, fiancé, father, and friend, Jesse, was involved in a devastating accident that has left him fighting for his life.
Since then Jesse has been in the Intensive Care Unit undergoing treatment for significant swelling of the brain. Unfortunately, we were told that his prognosis is not what we hoped and prayed for, and our family is now preparing for the heartbreaking reality of saying goodbye to a man who means so much to so many.
Anyone who knows Jesse knows what a special person he is. He has a heart of gold, an infectious laugh, and a way of bringing light into every room he enters. Jesse is incredibly loyal and would do anything for the people he loves. He is the first to lend a hand, stand up for others, and put his family before himself.
Footy has also been a huge part of Jesse’s life. A proud member of Norths Tigers since he was just six years old, the club became like a second family to him. Whether he was pulling on the jersey, cheering from the sidelines, or sharing laughs with his teammates and lifelong mates, Jesse’s passion for the game and the community around it never faded. The friendships and memories he made through Norths Tigers are something he treasured deeply, and his presence will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of playing alongside him or supporting him from the sidelines.
Most importantly, Jesse is an incredible father to his two beautiful children, Zion and Indy, and a devoted fiancé to Teigan. His family is his entire world, and they were his greatest pride and purpose. Right now, they are facing an unimaginable future without him.
As Teigan prepares to navigate life while carrying the immense weight of grief, we are asking for help to support her, Zion, and Indy through the difficult days, months, and years ahead. Donations will go towards easing the pressure of everyday living expenses, caring for the children, funeral and memorial costs, and providing stability for Jesse’s young family as they begin to rebuild their lives after this tragic loss.
If you’ve ever had the privilege of knowing Jesse, you’ll know that he would be the first person to help someone else without hesitation. Today, we are asking for that same kindness to be shown to the family he loves so dearly.
No donation is too small, and if you are unable to contribute financially, we would be deeply grateful if you could share this page and keep Teigan, Zion, Indy, and all who love Jesse in your thoughts and prayers.
The days ahead will be incredibly difficult, but we take comfort in knowing how deeply Jesse was loved and the countless lives he touched. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, support, generosity, and compassion during this heartbreaking time.
