We are raising funds to help Coodlie Park Eco Retreat achieve Dark Sky Approved Lodging status and continue protecting one of Australia’s rare, naturally dark night skies. This project will support dark sky education, wildlife protection, and a better guest experience for those who come to reconnect with nature under the stars.

Coodlie Park Eco Retreat is a family-run eco farm retreat on the West Coast of South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula run by husband and wife team Krystina and Paul.

Since taking over the property in 2023, we have worked hard to restore, improve, and protect this special 500-acre coastal mallee bush property.

We are now applying for Dark Sky Approved Lodging status, which recognises accommodation providers that actively reduce light pollution and protect the natural night sky. As part of this project, we are raising funds to assist with the costs of our Dark Sky Lodging application and required lighting improvements.

Our fundraising target is $5,000, which will help cover the cost for the Application and the Inspection/Certification process.
