Nikhil Autar lived an incredible life. From being diagnosed with leukaemia at the age of 17, undergoing chemotherapy, bone marrow transplants and open heart surgery, Nikhil still managed to fulfil his dream of becoming a doctor. He also founded several start ups focussed on those living with chronic conditions and most notably, was awarded 2024 NSW Young Australian of the Year.
Nikhil was especially devoted to helping young people with cancer. His family hope to continue his legacy through the Nikhil Autar Foundation - hoping to donate to the many charities that helped Nikhil, and that he passionately supported.
