Flinders Fringe Festival is delighted to support the regional tour of Sea Wolves Howl with this critical fundraiser to pay the creative team for rehearsals (including onboarding our new touring musician) and to redesign the set so the show can land powerfully in venues large and small.
Sea Wolves Howl is vivid, big-hearted theatre—created from the true stories of a remarkable group of female and non-binary cold-water swimmers who found each other through a daily dip and built a community. Older female and gender-fluid performers stride onstage in their togs, speaking and singing the words of people whose lives have been changed by getting wet, wild and wonderfully connected.
Commissioned by the Flinders Fringe Festival in 2024, the work has already found audiences across Victoria—and a 14-show tour in the second half of 2026. Box office will cover the touring costs; what it won’t cover is the paid time artists need to do the work well.
Please donate to help keep this joyful, life-affirming story of community and connection on the road—at a time when many of us are feeling isolated and divided. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
