Domestic violence rates continue to soar in NSW. Services are at breaking point, and they need our help. SASSI is a not-for-profit specialist service supporting vulnerable women and families in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions. SASSI has over 30 years of continuous experience, primarily working with women, with or without children, affected by homelessness or domestic and family violence. As part of the global Shimmy Mob initiative, a group of belly dancers in and around Kiama are raising much-needed funds for SASSI. With many families leaving abusive situations with nothing more than the clothes on their back, every dollar counts.
