Riven is a Tassie-Born Trans, Queer and Multi-disabled, community-motivated Drag Thing, Vocalist, Home-Cook and Graphic-Design Artist - Who loves all things strange, both dark and whimsical alike. He loves to spend his time working on Design Projects, playing D&D, Cooking, Fishing, Swimming and being out on the town at Drag Shows, Karaoke Nights and other events! Riven has always loved moving - before his condition became severe, he loved going on hikes, hitting up the beaches around Tas and biking around his hometown. With the help of a new wheelchair, he hopes that he will be able to finally access some of those activities he misses so much again. Riven's wheelchair was second-hand to start with, and despite how much it has improved his life, it has never been suitable for his needs. The wear-and-tear it both came with and has sustained since has meant the chair was never safe to use long-term, and due to this and the unsuitable design and significant weight of the chair, he is beginning to develop chronic pain in his upper body, namely his neck, shoulders, wrists and elbows, that he did not have before. Riven has several conditions that cause severe Pain, Episodic Paralysis, and Chronic Fatigue in his lower body, as well as seizures, Tics, and functional tremors. his physical disablity diagnosis include Fibromyalgia and Functional Neurological Disorder. Before he got his wheelchair, he was experiencing flares of symptoms that left him bed-bound and entirely dependent on family - not having a suitable wheelchair is putting him at risk of regressing back to that, and taking away his access to the community and his livelihood entirely.
