In January 2026, devastating fires in Harcourt claimed at least 47 homes, including the family residence, studio, and lifelong collections of local potter David Lyons and his mother. For David, a founding stall holder and member of our pottery community, this wasn't just a loss of property—it was the total destruction of his creative workspace and decades of work. As fellow collectors and lovers of the craft, we have a chance to help a "maker" rebuild from the ashes.
