Phil is known throughout the community as Big Phil on 2NZ - 1188 . He has the biggest heart always ready to help people in need. Now Phil needs our help. Recently due to diabetes complications he has had to have his leg amputated.

Now is the community’s turn to help Phil. His biggest wish is to purchase a Mobility Scooter to get to work at 3am to maintain his independence for a job he loves on the radio.

This has been ongoing for 10 years starting with the loss of toes and partial foot leading up to below knee amputation in December 2025 .

Phil was the first person to put his hand up to help my sons after their tragic accidents . Phil and his family have become apart of my family ,so now I would like to be able to try and help Phil . Any donations big or small will be greatly appreciated.
