Jazzie was a bright light with a cheeky smile and a personality that filled every room she entered. She lived at home surrounded by the love of her mum, dad, and younger sister Rylee, who all adored her deeply.
Born with dystonic cerebral palsy, Jazzie required 24/7 care and support for every aspect of daily life. Her condition affected all her limbs and caused her constant pain, yet she never complained. Through countless hospital visits, therapy sessions, specialist appointments, operations and Botox procedures, she met each challenge with strength, humour, and that unmistakable sparkle in her eyes.
Though unable to speak, Jaz communicated beautifully with her eyes and expressions - lighting up when she heard her favourite Stray Kids and K-pop songs, a good joke, or the voices of those she loved most (and some good looking fellas). She also was very clearly able to tell you she was grumpy with you… with one single glance.
Jasmin passed away suddenly this week following a short illness, leaving her family devastated and her friends and school mates heartbroken. She was just into her sassy 16 year old era with so much more still to experience - taken far too soon and so unexpectedly.
Her family now faces the unimaginable task of saying goodbye while navigating the financial strain of funeral costs and time away from work to grieve and heal. This fundraiser has been created to help relieve that burden - to give Jasmin the beautiful farewell she deserves and allow her parents and sister the space to honour her life without added financial stress.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. If you ever had the joy of meeting Jasmin and were lucky enough to see that grin you couldn’t help but smile back at…. please consider contributing to support this beautiful family.
Jazzie’s spirit, love, and that amazing smile will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her, and now it’s time to help her family
