Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we hit our $1,000 fundraising goal! Thank you very much.

The boys and I are on track to complete our 1,000km challenge before Christmas — that’s 11 half marathons for me — but since donations have now reached $2182, we’ll be adding 1182km (including eleven more half marathons) after Christmas to burn off the festive excess.

And we will keep it going: for now for every extra dollar donated before New Year, we’ll run an extra kilometre in 2026.

Funds remain split equally between Save the Children (including support for kids in Gaza) and the Prostate Cancer Foundation, in memory of Dad/Grandad, who we lost far too young at 60.

Massive thanks again to everyone who’s chipped in — donations go straight through to the charities so already helping.
