Leigh and his team, along with Ambassador Justin Koschitzke (ex- AFL player), are lacing up to run for those living with probable Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE).
CTE is a condition that deeply affects individuals and families across Australia. Unfortunately, more and more people are suffering in silence due to the limited clinical and support pathways available to people nationally. But we are here to change that!
With education and awareness, comes better understanding of how CTE develops and the risk factors which we know are exposure to repeated head impacts, injuries and concussions from high impact sport and workplaces, along with violence and other activities impacting brain and head safety.
This is a family friendly day with 1km & 5km jog/walk, and 10km and half marathon runs. Every cent is going to ConneCTErs Australia to provide people much needed support.
