Alby is a 15 month old living with a rare neurological disorder, lissencephaly. His disorder causes him to experience extreme developmental delays and uncontrollable seizures. Alby can not lift his head, and has the development of a newborn baby at 15 months old. Alby also suffers from cerebral palsy level 5. NDIS won’t fund Alby’s essential equipment he needs for daily living and seizure management. Alby needs a pulsometer for his own safety and management of seizures. When Alby has seizures he stops breathing and needs oxygen. Albys heart rate can also rise to over 200 beats per minute. The pulsometer is a daily living assistive technology he needs to keep him alive. Please help raise money, or donate towards his cause so we are able to purchase him a medical pulsometer by Masimo. This equipment cost $5000. NDIS have said it is the responsibility of the hospital to provide such equipment and the hospital have said Alby needs to return his pulsometer as he is now on NDIS and they should be funding it. I am at a loss and cannot afford it.
Please help us with a donation so we can provide him with essential equipment needed to stay alive.
