We want to bring Pro Wrestling Australia to Yeoval to inspire country kids that anything is possible. With your help, we’ll show that inclusivity, pride, and opportunity belong everywhere – even in the tiniest of towns.
🌟 Bring Pro Wrestling to the Bush 🌟
In the heart of the Central West of NSW lies Yeoval – a tiny town of just 300 people. We don’t have the big arenas, the flashing lights, or the crowds you see in the cities, but what we do have is passion, resilience, and a dream: to show our young people that anything is possible – no matter where you come from, or who you are.
That’s why we’re fighting to bring Pro Wrestling Australia to the bush, right here in Yeoval, for a once-in-a-lifetime event.
This isn’t just wrestling. It’s about hope.
One of the stars headlining the show grew up here – a small-town kid who’s gone on to make his mark on the national stage. He’s also proudly, openly gay. In a world where country kids often feel invisible or like their dreams are “too big for a small town,” his return will be a powerful reminder:
👉 You can be yourself.
👉 You can chase your dreams.
👉 You can make it – no matter your postcode, no matter your barriers.
Why We Need Your Help
We’re a tiny community. We don’t have major businesses to bankroll us. We’ve applied for every grant we can find – including LGBTQ+ funding opportunities – but we’ve been unsuccessful. Our festival committee is made up of volunteers who give their time and hearts freely, but the costs of staging a professional event are beyond what we can raise on sausage sizzles and raffles alone.
That’s why we’re casting our net wide, hoping people across NSW and Australia will come on board. Your donation, no matter the size, will help us:
Bring professional wrestlers, equipment, and staging to Yeoval
Cover travel, accommodation, and insurance costs
Provide a safe, inclusive, and unforgettable event for our kids and community
Why This Matters
In a world where rural towns are shrinking and opportunities feel few and far between, events like this remind us that our voices matter, that our kids’ dreams matter, and that inclusivity belongs everywhere – not just in the cities.
This event will be the first of its kind here, and it will belong not just to Yeoval, but to everyone who believes in the power of community and the importance of giving kids role models who reflect the world as it really is.
How You Can Help
Donate what you can – even $10 makes a difference
Share this campaign with your networks – spread the word far and wide
Stand with us as we bring wrestling, hope, and inclusivity back to the bush
Together, we can show our kids that small towns can dream big, too.
We know we can do it – our inaugural Back to Buckinbah Festival proved it. We had over 1,000 people through the gates, and thousands of dollars spent in our community. It was a fantastic, much-needed boost to our local businesses, trade stalls, and community as a whole. Events like the Summer Smackdown and Back to Buckinbah Festival breathe life into small towns. With your support, we can do it again – bigger, bolder, and better.
💚 From all of us at Grow Yeoval – thank you for believing in us.
