This September, I’ll be taking on a 24-hour relay run alongside three teammates. Together, the four of us will be running around the clock — pushing our bodies and minds well past comfort — all for a cause that matters deeply.
We are running to support WAGEC (Women’s And Girls Emergency Centre), an organisation that provides safety, shelter, and hope to women and children escaping domestic violence.
While our challenge will test endurance, resilience, and teamwork, it’s nothing compared to the daily battles faced by women experiencing abuse. The courage it takes to leave an unsafe home, protect your children, and rebuild a life is far greater than anything we’ll face out on the course.
By supporting this run, you’re not just backing our team — you’re helping provide vital resources, safe accommodation, counselling, and a future free from violence for those who need it most.
Every kilometre we run is dedicated to those women and children, and every dollar raised will make a difference.
Please consider donating and sharing our page to help us reach our goal. Together, we can run towards a safer future for everyone.
