I’m proud to be taking part in the Noosa Triathlon this year to raise funds for the Noosa Prostate Association. Living in this community and my role as Site Manager of Icon Cancer Centre Noosa. I’ve seen first hand the impact prostate cancer has on local men and their families. The Noosa Prostate Association plays such an important role in supporting those affected, raising awareness, and ensuring our community has access to the information and care they need. For me, it’s about giving back to a community that I care deeply about and standing alongside the many men and families who are touched by prostate cancer every day. The Noosa Prostate Association was instrumental in having a Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse appointed to Noosa, together with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Icon Cancer Centre. Michelle Sumegi is available at the Icon Cancer Centre Noosa. She provides comprehensive and confidential supportive care to people diagnosed with prostate cancer. Every donation, big or small, will stay local and directly support the Noosa community. Together, we can make a real difference.
