Welcome to the HEYSEN 75 / 100 – SA POLICE LEGACY fundraising page. We're back for 2026, and we're taking on an even bigger challenge for a cause close to our hearts: SA Police Legacy. This year, the HEYSEN 75 / 100 fundraising event introduces a new 100km route alongside the original 75km journey of 2024. Our team of up to 50 dedicated participants will once again tackle the breathtaking Wild South Coast Way of the Heysen Trail, from Deep Creek or Cape Jervis to Victor Harbor. Between Friday 20th and Saturday 21st March 2026, we'll push our limits to complete this epic hike within 24 hours. This isn't just any hike as the Legends of 2024 will testify. We'll again be navigating part of Australia’s longest dedicated trail, climbing big meters in elevation, traversing rugged cliffs, pristine beaches, rural landscapes and dense native scrub. It's a true test of physical and mental endurance, but we're doing it to support our vital charity. SA Police Legacy is an independent, registered charity that has been providing crucial support to South Australia Police families since 1989. They offer financial and emotional assistance to families facing bereavement or serious health issues. The organisation also fosters a strong community, providing much-needed social connection and support through various activities and gatherings. Every dollar we raise will directly benefit these families.
