In April this year we received the devastating news that Chris had a rare and aggressive cancer called Leiomyosarcoma (LMS). Not only was it rare but it was also in a rare location being present in his palate, Sinus and nasal area. He had to undergo life changing major surgery to remove the tumour as well as radiotherapy. Chris has had a great medical team throughout his process and since his diagnosis, we have come to realise that sarcoma’s are underfunded and unfortunately often found too late so this is just one of the reasons we have decided to support this amazing cause and raise money to help those battling, those survivors and those who sadly lost their battle to this awful disease. Until now, Chris asked for privacy and kept his battle amongst immediate family and close friends only. In order to raise vital funds we now feel it is time to share Chris's story and together beat this awful disease!
